*CLOSED* amykathryn Giveaway!

Allison J was the random winner! She has been notified via email!

Amy Hall, the creator and designer of amykathryn handbags, is not your average Jane. Raised in Phoenix, Arizona, her family and upbringing are anything but typical. Her father and brother, Gary Hall Sr. and Jr. are the only father-son duo in history to make 3 Olympics, earning a combined 13 Olympic medals and breaking 12 world records in swimming. The list goes on, with no small shoes to fill, but Hall has risen to the challenge.

She lists her mother, Mary Hall, and grandmother, Mary Elaine Keating, as her guiding inspiration - both women were behind The Phoenician and both have encouraged Hall's creative talents in design. Hall has a deep-rooted passion for Africa, where she traveled with her grandparents as a child. This passion led her to major in Anthropology as well as Art History at the University of Arizona. From there she went on to open a museum-quality furniture and art gallery in Scottsdale. Her career in the arts led her to Los Angeles where she attended Otis School of Design and became a designer of fabrics and accessories.

Today, amykathryn is one of the fastest growing brands on the market. Celebrity clients include Pink, Hillary Duff, Selma Blair, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Leann Rimes. Each bag is hand-printed with beautiful patterns derived from the textiles she remembers from her childhood. Also incorporated are the rich colors found in nature, paired with animal-friendly faux leathers. Each season brings a breath-taking surprise, which makes her bags in high demand. Hall's future goals include expanding into a lifestyle brand and incorporating her eco-friendly philosophy into all aspects of product and design.

I am extra excited for this giveaway! I recently purchased this Hydrangea Gold bag after searching for the perfect diaper bag for 2 years. It's embarassing how many bags I tried before this one. I went to their Facebook page to rave about my new bag and they offered to give one away to one of my fans!

This is what I typically carry : 3 pocket diapers, a snack bag, my wallet, a change of clothes for my daughter, sunscreen, 2 little bunnies :), a notebook, a sticker book, a crayon roll, a wet bag, our pouch full of wipes/wipe spray/diaper creme, and my meitai! I could have fit even more stuff in, but this is what I pack on a typical day, minus a water bottle.

I love this bag because it is roomy without being huge. Another great thing about it is that it looks like a purse. I can toss the diapers out and take it to work with me if I need to.
